Fav reading spot. In my backyard, under my 65 foot pin oak tree. Unfortunately, a recent storm, split the tree in half, and the rest of the tree had to come down. My back yard looks like a mini war zone, tree gone now and I am very sad. However, I still find shade under a couple of holly trees, bird feeders filled to the brim, reading, reading, reading. Dusting will just have to wait. Also, in the evenings, I love having my books, and four cats, all comfy on my bed.

My favorite place, time and accessories when reading is simple, comfortable and tranquil. I love to curl up on the couch with a light afghan blanket in the afternoon. The afternoon sun is warming through the window, the cat is laying on my legs, the house is so quiet that it feels like an abandoned beach. Usually there is a glass of wine or a cup of hot cocoa (depending on the mood) on the coffee table next to me and my world is at peace. A book is more valuable than words can portray!

I love to read sitting on my deck near the river in the summer but when the weather gets cold I read under a soft throw with a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate.

I love to read laying on the glider out on the screen porch. The sun shines softly in, the sounds of nature sing, the glider screeches gently, the cats lounge in their sunny spots, and all is right with my world as I am absorbed in my latest Harlequin Historical.

My favourite reading spot is on my deck, shades from the sun and surrounded by my garden. If it’s raining, I get cozy on the couch with my favourite blanket and book.
