For the past three years, Lincoln and Grace have had a relationship based purely on pleasure. Business competitors in the real world, they finally found a way to work out their frustrations—by meeting up every three months in the Billionaires Club intimate rooms! But now Linc wants more from Grace and he’s about to risk everything to get it. He knows she has trust issues, so to get what he wants he’ll show her that she can trust him implicitly—starting with ensuring she puts herself completely in his seductive control!
We were meeting at the Billionaires Club: Paris, one of the most exclusive private club on the planet. To be a member you had to have enough ones and zeros in your bank account, and we both did. We’d become members at the same time—fortuitously as it turned out. Each club in all the cities scattered around the globe had ‘intimate suites’, where members could spend time together, and Grace and I had certainly used enough of them in the three years we’d been meeting.
Tonight, I’d booked Paris’s finest suite. Because tonight I wanted no distractions.
I checked the champagne chilling in the bucket, then surveyed the rest of the room. The black silk blindfold was sitting on the white cotton of the pillow, a few colorful scarves on the deep blue velvet quilt covering the massive bed. Thick, pale cream carpet covered the floor, and just to the left of the bed, a big window looked out onto Paris. Though I’d pulled the blue velvet curtains.
It was all ready for her, and so was I.
I’d been ready since the day we met, three years ago in New York. Both of us CEOs of our respective companies and both of us competing for the same contract. I’d watched her come out of the meeting room after having given her presentation, all power suit and red lipstick, her blond hair pulled back in a no-nonsense chignon. She appeared to be all angles and hard edges, yet all I could see were curves and softness: full breasts and hips, pale, milky skin, the gentle curve of her bottom lip.
Her grey eyes had met mine and I’d felt the impact like a bullet. A cliché perhaps, but it was true. I’d wanted her immediately. Now. Right there and then, my own presentation be damned.
Naturally, that didn’t happen. I gave my presentation, won the contract and forgot about Grace Anderson, CEO of Anderson Tech, one of the biggest and fastest-growing tech companies in the States.
Until three months later, in Germany. Same situation, different city. Only this time, I was going out and she was coming in. Our eyes met and again, lightning struck. Later that night I saw her in the Billionaires Club: Berlin, and I bought her a drink. Ten seconds later we were upstairs in one of the private suites, ripping at each other’s clothes. We barely made it through the door.
It was supposed to be a one-off. We weren’t supposed to meet again. But we did, again and again, every three months for three years. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other. It was the perfect no-strings affair, since we lived in different countries—me in London and her in New York. And neither of us wanted anything more.
I was happy with that. Until one day I wasn’t. One day I didn’t want to say goodbye to her the next morning and watch her walk away.
The one day I wanted her to stay.
She didn’t want the same; she never had. She kept me at a distance, giving me her body, but nothing more.
Tonight, though, that was going to change.
Tonight, I wanted her heart and nothing less.
