Do you ever meet characters in a book and wish you had more than one novel to really get to know them? If so, I’m thrilled to introduce you to the new four-book Risk Series that follows Tanner Dempsey and Bree Daniels on their sometimes-perilous journey to happily-ever-after.

Tanner Dempsey is the deputy sheriff of Risk Peak, Colorado. He grew up here—loves the people, loves the place, and takes his role as protector very seriously. But when he catches a young woman shoplifting baby supplies, he knows right away there’s more to her than meets the eye.

Bree Daniels is out of money and options when she rolls into Risk Peak. She knows she can’t stay—despite the handsome lawman and kind townspeople who might want to help her. There’s danger only a step behind her. The kind that will make sure she winds up dead before allowing her to spill the secrets she’s carried for years.

She’ll need Tanner’s help to survive. If she can allow herself to trust him—trust anyone—after what she’s been through.

Having a love story like Bree and Tanner’s that spans over multiple books gave me a chance to really develop their relationship with no rushing—from meeting for the first time, to talking about their future. Wonderful passion, plus all the Intrigue twists and turns that makes romantic suspense so great in every single book.

I hope you enjoy Calculated Risk and will join me for the other three books in the series, releasing back-to-back: Security Risk, Constant Risk and Risk Everything. I fell in love with Bree and Tanner—I think you will too.

I’d love to hear from you at www.janiecrouch.com, or connect with me on Facebook or Twitter.

Happy reading,

Janie

I am not sure it if counts as a book since it is technically a play…Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare.

After that Rhett Butler and Scarlett O’Hara from Gone With The Wind.
