A First Look at Second Chance Romances: 6 New Books

by Karen Green

Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Especially if that second chance can lead to true happiness—and especially if the first chance was thwarted by circumstances almost beyond control. And who, really, can control circumstances like playboy exes, surprise pregnancies, secret babies or divided family loyalties?

For the couples in these six contemporary romances, second chances are the first step to a happily-ever-after that has been a long time coming. But that doesn’t mean it’ll be totally smooth sailing—each of these stories is packed with delicious tension, a high-stakes history to reconcile and lots of romantic drama—after all, there’s a reason it didn’t work out the first time.
