Celebrate 35 Years of Harlequin Desire with Brenda Jackson

Dear Reader,

Happy thirty-fifth anniversary, Harlequin Desire!

It is hard to believe that Harlequin Desire is thirty-five years old. Time sure flies when you’re having fun reading the hottest books in the publishing world. I can remember when I picked up my very first Desire novel—I read it on my lunch break at work. I thought the same thing about it then that I do now. “Wow, this little red book is hot!”

Little did I know that years later I would be one of the authors writing those “hot” stories. Doing so has been both an honor and a privilege. And I remain in the ranks of readers who often say “There’s nothing like Harlequin Desire.”

I have written more than forty stories for Harlequin Desire, but my first one was Delaney’s Desert Sheikh. Delaney’s story is special because it is the book that kicked off my Westmorelands series. In it, Delaney Westmoreland conquers the heart of her desert sheikh, and you can still read her story wherever Harlequin ebooks are sold.

Congratulations, Harlequin Desire! Happy thirty-fifth anniversary! And may you have many, many more!

Brenda Jackson

Don’t miss His Secret Son by Brenda Jackson:

Three nights with a Texan…and one pregnancy surprise! Only from New York Times bestselling author Brenda Jackson!

The Texas rancher and navy SEAL who fathered Bristol Lockett’s son died a hero’s death…or so she was told. Yet when Laramie “Coop” Cooper strolls into her exhibit at an art gallery three years later, he’s very much alive—and still making her pulse zing. The all-consuming chemistry between them is as undeniable now as it was then, but Bristol won’t risk her heart—or their son’s. Little does Bristol know he’s determined to win over his unexpected family at any cost!

Brenda you are absolutely the BEST. You are one of my favorite writers.

    (a) there is always a great plot
    (b) the reader is always engrossed
    (c) the emotions that are invoked when reading your prose
    (d) finally the happy ever after and satisfaction one feels when completing one of
    your books.

Thanks so much Brenda for allowing us to enjoy your work!!!
