Five Miniseries to Devour This Summer!
by Karen Green
The best part of discovering a new miniseries is being able to follow characters through their ongoing feats and failures. Familiar settings and backstories help us get invested in not only the story, but in the people and places that make up the entire town. We’re there, right alongside the action, and there’s nothing better for a romance reader than being able to return to the scene of the seduction again and again.
It’s hard to say goodbye to the characters we get to know in novels, but with these books, you won’t have to! From a combat unit full of rough-and-ready ranchers to a Montana town populated with hard-to-pin-down Mavericks, you’ll fall in love with these five miniseries, each with a new title launching this summer!
As comfortable in a ten-gallon hat as they are in a tank, these are definitely not your average military men. Whether working on the ranch or on a high-stakes mission, these are the cowboys you want on your side in combat—and romance.
San Diego K-9 Unit
Merging heartwarming relationships with intriguing storylines, this miniseries features the hardworking men, women and dogs of the San Diego PD as they work together to find the bad guys, and perhaps even love.
Wallflowers to Wives
Shunned by society, these Regency-era women have been left in the shadows—but that’s not where they are going to stay. Get to know the spirited women featured in this historical series as they grow in confidence and prospects.
The Royal Weddings
Welcome to Grand Serenity, where the water is turquoise, the sand is white and the love connections are as hot as the shining sun. Get to know the local customs and the local royalty, as everybody on Grand Serenity is looking for a chance to find relaxation, rejuvenation and romance.
