7 Secret Baby Stories You Need To Read (Giveaway)

by Karen Green

A secret baby. It’s got to be the hardest secret to keep because it is a secret with both nuanced, hidden implications as well as the very obvious, very definitive, unhideable results. A woman can pretend she is not pregnant, but only for so long, and a parent can pretend a baby is not theirs (or someone else’s), but the secret is the denial of the child’s history, not the child itself.

It is also a secret that knows no boundaries and is plausible in any setting, for any person, and perhaps that is why it is such a popular, evergreen plot in our favorite romance novels. From the poorest workers of historical romance to the richest royals in contemporary stories, a secret baby seems to be able to happen to anyone. And when it does, the tension rises, the stakes become higher and the passion increases. There’s a lot on the line when a secret pregnancy or child is involved. So who keeps the secret best?
