What’s On Our Wish Lists?

Christmas is just around the corner, and here at Harlequin, we are already looking ahead at our wish lists! Take a peek behind the scenes and see what we want to see under the tree this holiday season…other than lots of books of course!

I come from a small family, so the holidays are usually very quiet for me. Now that the ‘kids’ are older, we’ve forgone gift-giving and just all get together over a lot of food and (most importantly) a lot of wine. It’s always cozy and intimate. So what do I want this year? Besides world peace and a pony, I want to pour myself a glass, curl up by the fire, and spend time with those I care about the most.

Christmas, to me, is a time to eat good food with even better company. So, my holiday wish list is just some restaurants I’d love to check out and also hit up some old favourites: Hanmoto (they have amazing stuffed chicken wings here), Miku (I heard amazing things about their Aburi menu), and Kekou Gelato (who says you can’t eat gelato in the Winter)!

This holiday season I’m looking forward to eating way too many of my Grandma’s baked goods and asking Santa for all the books I haven’t gotten around to reading yet this year. But mostly, I’m super excited to start singing Christmas carols the second Halloween is over and unintentionally annoying everyone. (Sorry in advance!)

As a restless traveler and having just come back from Japan, I’m keen to feed my re-enforced obsession with the country. A beautiful sake decanter is at the top of the list and maybe a silk kimono dressing gown too. As Harlequin Presents testifies…there’s nothing better than a little bit of international luxury!
