Cover Spotlight: No Limits by Lori Foster

Want to know what goes into making a sexy, MMA-themed cover? Read on to find out more about the cover art for Lori Foster’s No Limits, the first book in the Ultimate series, as well as the book itself.

Here’s what Art Director Kathleen Oudit had to say:

“Illustrations for Lori Foster books are always focused on a dramatically lit, strong male physique/character. For the entire “Ultimate” series we will depict men with fighter’s physiques, and subtle cues from the MMA environment such as hand wraps, simple gym clothing etc. But, we will always use these props “lightly” and we have deliberately kept the background non-recognizable–we are subtly directing the viewers emotion to the hero’s character and romantic journey–rather than his “matches”. It is important to skirt this line carefully or we risk making Lori’s covers look like a men’s health magazine!”

About the Book

A surprise inheritance reunites a mixed martial arts fighter with the woman he’s never forgotten in the first in a smoldering new series from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster.

Cannon Colter is quintessential hero material—chiseled jawline, shredded body, the works. He’s also the guy who rescued Yvette Sweeny from kidnappers only to put an end to her romantic dreams. These days, she’s older, smarter, determined to face whatever life throws her way. Even the prospect of sharing a house and business with Cannon.

Cannon knew Yvette wanted him three years ago. But she was young—and some things are worth waiting for. Thrown together by her grandfather’s legacy, he realizes how deep Yvette’s scars really go, and how much danger lurks in their quiet town. As pent-up desire explodes between them, protecting her becomes the only fight that matters. And he’ll break all the rules to do it…

Agree with Sherry, Can’t mistake her book covers for Men’s magazines. But really looking forward to reading Cannon’s story. The ending of Dash of Peril leaves Cannons story hanging, making you antsy to hear his! Can’t wait! I was never a reader till I read Lori’s books and now she is the only one i read and collect her books!:)

I love Lori Foster’s books inside and out! She always has a terrific story and a hunky hero with a HEA! Gotta have the HEA. With all of the stuff going on in the world, her stories are a great way to relax and enjoy one of life’s pleasures by getting lost in one of her books.
