Of the four choices, I’d go with tycoons or billionaires. Self-made men beat blue bloods every time.

My favourite heroes would have to be the tycoons and/or billionaires especially the ones that didn’t inherit their fortune or wealth but had to work hard from scratch to get it. My favourite heroes would have to be the tycoons and/or billionaires especially the ones that didn’t inherit their fortune or wealth but had to work hard from scratch to get it. However, I would have to say that I love all kind of series, especially harlequin blaze hmmmm…I could read that all day long.

As romantic as foreign royalty can be, I prefer the self-made, assured, zealous, but caring hero. The idea that a boy once known who blooms after high school, be it college or the school of hard knocks, and still recognizes you after all those years, despite his billionaire status, appeals to me. The ups and downs of a relationship, the beginnings of sexual awareness, the intensity of the new love….it’a all wonderful. If excitement is added, wow!

I prefer a self made man. They’re usually stronger men and more romantic. Although I can’t resist a good story when it has a prince or a sheikh in it.

I adore the slightly damaged hero who has never trusted anyone enough to really let them in, only to find a spunky, independent heroine who gets under his defenses and helps him look to the future. And if he’s a Presents millionaire, that’s great too! 🙂
