Spotlight on Harlequin American Romance

By Dana Hopkins, Editorial Assistant, Harlequin American Romance

Winter might be setting in, but Harlequin American Romance is just the warm, cozy treat you need to chase away the chill. It’s American Romance Spotlight month, so let us introduce you to our strong, sexy western heroes! American Romances are contemporary, heartwarming small-town tales about everyday women finding love and becoming part of the community—and part of a family. Pregnant heroines, new parents, blended families, and more drive these poignant romances. The breathtaking vistas of American western locales are as integral to these stories as the sense of family and community. Do you want to feel part of a big, loving, interwoven clan? American Romance is the read for you.

1113-9780373754779-bigwChristmas is a particularly special time for our heroes and heroines, and true love might just be found under the mistletoe…or with the rugged rancher who loves a heroine just as much as he loves her precious babies. In November, Tina Leonard’s beloved Callahan family discovers a little Christmas magic in A CALLAHAN CHRISTMAS MIRACLE. Visit two of my favorite small towns with new installments of Cathy McDavid’s Sweetheart, Nevada series (HIS CHRISTMAS SWEETHEART) 1113-9780373754809-bigwand Marie Ferrarella’s Forever, Texas series (A SMALL TOWN THANSKGIVING). And find out if Cabe Jensen, the cowboy who hates Christmas, might just have his mind—and his heart—changed by beautiful Saedra Robbins in Pamela Britton’s A COWBOY’S CHRISTMAS WEDDING.

Then, in December, the holiday spirit continues! Give yourself a gift with Cathy Gillen Thacker’s THE TEXAS CHRISTMAS GIFT. Can’t get enough Marie Ferrarella? She follows up her November book with December’s THE COWBOY’S 1213-9780373754847-bigwCHRISTMAS SURPRISE. And the holidays are all about love, forgiveness, and second chances, right? Find out in Tanya Michaels’ SECOND CHANCE CHRISTMAS, the latest in her Colorado Cades series. If sexy military heroes are your thing, be sure to treat yourself to Laura Marie Altom’s THE SEAL’S CHRISTMAS TWINS.

And don’t worry—we’ve got you covered in the New Year, too. Come home to Harlequin American Romance all year long!

Cowboys (my favorite next to military) just something about them, the fact they are rough and ready for action but at the same time sweet, a gentleman, not that they would want to be described as sweet. Lady I run cattle, I’m not sweet, I like the part about being rough and ready. They make my heart beat a little bit faster. Thanks for providing a little bit of escapism. Escaping to an area that becomes real while I’m in the book and want to visit.
