Memories of the Special Edition Fortune Family
by Marie Ferrarella, author of Fortune’s Valentine Bride (Harlequin Special Edition)
I first met the Fortune Family back in ’97 when I was asked to work on a book entitled Forgotten Honeymoon. It was about one of the Fortune women who had lost her memory and turns up at a B&B. Previously regarded as a shrew, stripped of her defenses she turned out to be a very nice person. And that’s the way of these stories, things aren’t always what they seem and there are many layers to seemingly simple people.
Since that book, I have reunited a number of times with different branches of the family. My latest reunion is called Fortune’s Valentine Bride and it is more of a valentine to me than to the reader because I adore writing family sagas.
I consider it a very fortunate thing (no pun intended) that the Fortune family has so many different branches and so many friends. It allows me to revisit old friends, make new ones and along the line, contribute in some small way to their ongoing saga. Thank you for reading!
Fortune’s Valentine Bride is still available in print and ebook!
