My Dream Come True: Caitlin Crews

I love romance novels.  I love dark, alpha heroes and complicated heroines.  I like watching love come alive on the page, and I love reading—heart in mouth—as couples work their way to a well-deserved happily ever after.  Romance novels have saved me and comforted me more times than I can count.  So I couldn’t believe it when I actually sold to Harlequin Presents.  It was my dream come true!  Writing Pure Princess, Bartered Bride, was so much fun and I couldn’t believe I’d get to share that story with all the romance readers like me out there.  How could anything be better than that?  Well, I’ll tell you—the book had only been out a little while when I found out it had hit the USA Today bestseller list.  I couldn’t believe it!  I still can’t.  It’s like my own happily-ever-after, Presents-style!

USA Today Bestselling Author Caitlin Crews discovered her first romance novel at the age of twelve, in a bargain bin at the local five and dime. It involved swashbuckling pirates, grand adventures, a heroine with rustling skirts and a mind of her own, and a seriously mouthwatering and masterful hero. The book (the title of which remains lost in the mists of time) made a serious impression. Caitlin was immediately smitten with romances and romance heroes, to the detriment of her middle school social life. And so began her life-long love affair with romance novels, many of which she insists on keeping near her at all times, thus creating a fire hazard of love wherever she lives.
