Cover Spotlight Poll: Holding Strong & Lori Foster’s Hot MMA Covers

Lori Foster won the cover jackpot with the sexy covers for her Ultimate series, which stars up-and-coming — and red-hot! — MMA fighter heroes. Take a look at the covers below, including the upcoming books Holding Strong and Tough Love, find out what draws Lori to MMA, and vote on which Ultimate cover is your favorite.

By Lori Foster, author of Holding Strong and the Ultimate series

Writing about MMA fighters is a natural fit for me because I love the sport! Nonstop action with highly trained (and usually very buff) hunks utilizing a variety of disciplines. It’s not just punching, kicking, submissions or wrestling/grappling. It’s all that wrapped up together to create an elite competitor. How fun is that?

I also respect fighters. Think about the self-confidence and ability it takes to step into the cage surrounded by lights and music and screaming crowds of fans. Leading up to a fight, competitors have to maintain a strict diet and workout regime, which shows a lot of control. And most interviews prove the guys are really nice, intelligent and polite. Sure, they talk smack for a fight, but that’s just for fun and to hype up the event. There is very little bad sportsmanship in MMA.

These are real men with amazing ability and loads of confidence—alphas through and through. And just look at the amazing covers my publisher has given me! I’m a cover fanatic, and I think these are some of the best. I hope you enjoy the covers as much as I do, and I doubly hope you enjoy reading the stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.

About Holding Strong (on sale March 31, 2015):

An up-and-coming MMA fighter wants more than just one night from a woman fleeing her past in New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster’s irresistible new novel

Heavyweight fighter Denver Lewis plays real nice, but he doesn’t share. That’s why he’s been avoiding top-notch flirt Cherry Peyton. But a man can only resist those lush curves for so long. Their encounter surpasses all his fantasies, bringing out protective urges that Cherry’s about to need more than she knows…

Denver’s combination of pure muscle and unexpected tenderness has been driving Cherry wild. Yet no sooner does she get what she’s been craving than old troubles show up on her doorstep. And this time, Cherry can’t hide behind a carefree facade. Because the man by her side is one who’ll fight like hell to keep her safe…if only she’ll trust him enough to let him…
