When I was in Anaheim this summer for the Romance Writers of America’s annual convention, I was delighted to finally get together for drinks with Heather Graham, Harley Jane Kozak and Alexandra Sokoloff, who have collaborated on The Keepers: L.A. miniseries for Harlequin Nocturne. If it wasn’t already apparent to me from reading their manuscripts, these women have a blast whenever they can get together, much less work together–be it brainstorming a miniseries or performing in the Killer Thriller Band.

The setting for our meeting was also pretty appropriate given that the series is set in L.A. Each of these women have first-hand knowledge of the entertainment business, which made their choice of setting–Hollywood–frightfully plausible. (Aren’t stories about the movie business surreal enough sans the paranormal?)

New York Times bestselling author Heather Graham kicks off the series with her free digital prequel story, THE GATEKEEPER, and book one debuts in January with Heather’s KEEPER OF THE NIGHT. The series focuses on female cousins who have just fallen into their destined roles of Keepers of the peace between the paranormals and the humans. Now these extraordinary women must balance the fate of the paranormal world with their own desires…

The Keepers: L.A. miniseries continues in March with Harley Jane Kozak’s KEEPER OF THE MOON, in May with Alexandra Sokoloff’s KEEPER OF THE SHADOWS and concludes in July with Heather’s KEEPER OF THE DAWN.
