Dispatches from Our Fearless eHarlequin Community Manager at RWA!

One of my favorite things about attending the RWA National conference is walking around the hotel and author spotting.  You NEVER know who you’ll run into!

Why, just this morning I ran into author Robyn Carr with her editor as they were heading to breakfast and a chat.   We talked about her Virgin River books and her video, and how she’s busy working on the next installment of everyone’s favorite town in California and of course, as she said, everyone’s favorite MEN.

I then ran downstairs to see if I could grab my registration kit, but sadly they weren’t open yet, however I did manage to grab a couple of snaps of some posters and banners featuring Debbie Macomber

Debbie is this year’s recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award, otherwise known as the Nora Roberts award.  And imagine our delight in seeing Carina Press displayed so prominently on the water bottles included in the registrants swag bags!

As Amy likes to say, “Oooh, shiny!”

I’m spending today shooting author videos with Courtney Milan, Vicki Lewis Thompson, Sharon Sala and Heather Graham and I’ll be sure to update later on today with pics and anecdotes.  The hotel is FREEZING cold and outside is incredibly hot, so much so that my camera completely fogged when I nipped out to try to grab some snaps of the architecture here at the Disney Dolphin, so you’ll have to make do with inside pics.

See you later!
