The contemporary series runs before the prequel because Love Inpired is the more established line. It’s been around since 1997. We started the historical line in 2008. So we hope that all of you who love Love Inspired will love Treasure Creek enough to want to return to see where it all began back in the Gold Rush days. We’ve got some great stories in that series, including a Native Alaskan Indian heroine.

Sounds Great. They will be a definate read here. I already have the 1st. Why though are the prequels after the 1st ones? I know there must be a reason. I’ll be reading those too. I love all the covers.

I always love the continuity series and think it’s so cool that this one will connect with the LIH series too!

I agree with Cynthia, it reminds me of the Seven Brides/Seven Brothers series, too. That was one of my favorites at the time. Can’t wait to see the modern day version of this in the LI series.

Emily, thanks for blogging. I’m an Alaskan fan — it’s the most beautiful state I’ve visited and the covers you and the art department created do the state justice! I really like the way Love Inspired is doing cross-over books with contemporary ones and historical ones. They’re some of my favorites.
