Congratulations on expanding the market to Turkey. I've also been to Turkey and love the country and its people. I have a special fondness for Istanbul and have photos on my website under "Romantic Travels".(quite appropriate for a romance novelists, isn't it. :-)) There are some photos inside the Blue Mosque, too. I'd love to go back again!

I just received my first Swedish translation and hope I'll eventually have a Turkish translation of one of my books to add to my shelf.

Cheers!!

Oh how exciting that Harlequin is now in Turkey, particularly as in 2010, Istanbul is the Europeon Capital of Culture.
Like Carol, I adore Istanbul, having spent a few days there last autumn doing research for an upcoming book...
The people are very friendly and you must get to the Topkapi Palace to see the Harem etc. The food is fantastic and if you have not had a proper Turkish bath, you have not lived.

Thanks everyone for your warm wishes.

And thanks Olga for adding that info about the Blue Mosque. I took that picture from the rooftop patio of my hotel.

Ellen: Ooops, that's my bad! It IS very familiar because it's the Blue Mosque (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sultan_Ahmed_Mosque)

Poor Katie, I forgot to add the last sentence of her blog post--which says exactly that! I'll go add it now. :)
