Ellen, I am jealous that you can schedule your days for as much as you want! Retirement is looking good...

And, Kimber, excellent plan to convert your husband to Presents. Because we all know you can't read just one...

Love Romance Novels and Billionaires also.

BTW... my hubby read his very first romance novel this week.
(The hubby has only read one fictional book in 16 years,
The Da Vinci Code)
The Brazilian Boss's Innocent Mistress from Sarah Morgan.
I left it in the bathroom (his fave reading spot).
He picked it up using the excuse that he was 'helping me' with plotting (he knows I want to write for Harlequin Presents).
That was just that, an excuse.
I've never seen a reader get so angry at a hero during the black moment.
(grinning)
Today, he casually mentioned "You know I finished The Brazilian Boss's Innocent Mistress two days ago, don't you?"
"I have another Presents. Could you review that book for me too?" was my reply.
"Well..." He frowned. "If it would help you out."

Me thinks we have ourselves another Harlequin reader!

I'm thankful for a lot of things but topping the list is that I am well and alive and able to take care of myself. I am also thankful for being able to buy and read Harlequin books. Then I will throw in being thankful for all my friends and family. And the fact that I am retired and can structure my day so I can read as much or as little as I want or take off on a trip whenever and wherever I want to.
